Doomed Battalions 3rd Edition Update

DB3 status

I've been given the green light to post a DB3 status update, so here goes:

DB3 proofing is finally wrapping up. A tremendous amount of excellent input was received from the proofing crew, much of which adds new improvements and clarity over contents of the previous editions.

Some "migrating terrain" issues have been found with the boards and are currently being corrected. The overlays are complete, and look great with the new board art.

The scenarios are complete and laid out. All but a few have been updated to correct known errata and/or improve play balance.

DB3 includes a whopping 24 scenarios: 43 - Into the Fray, 44 - The Gauntlet, 45 - Revenge at Kastelli, 46 - Birds of Prey, 47 - Rude Awakening, 48 - Toujours L'Audace, 49 - Piercing the Peel, 50 - Age-Old Foes, 83 - An Uncommon Occurrence, 84 - Round One, 85 - No Way Out, 86 - Fighting Back, 87 - Good Night, Sweet Prince, 88 - Art Nouveau, 89 - Rescue Attempt, 90 - Pride and Joy, 137 - Italian Brothers, 138 - Rattle of Sabres, 139 - The Weigh In, 140 - Round Two, 141 - Action At Balberkamp, 142 - On The Road To Andalsnes, 143 - Grebbe End, 144 - The Professionals

137-144は Beyond Valor 3rd Ed.に付いた 124-136と同じパターンかな。ASL Journalや ASL Annualからの再発行。ただ上の引用に書いてあるようにバランス調整のための変更点が組み込まれるのでしょう。もともとバランスよくプレイ回数も多いものもありますが、その逆のものもありますね。これらが今回の調整で新しい命を宿すといいな。
